Good morning folks. I hope you are excited and ready for a brand new unit. We are going to start CONCRETE this week. This is by far one of my favorite units we do all year long. Lots of new stuff to learn, tools to use, and concrete to pour. To get started we are going to take some notes about this magical substance.
After we take the notes we are going to explore some specific tools we used in pouring and mixing concrete. You will fill in the keynote with what each tool is used for. So, please download the following document.
For your homework, you are to make a poster all about concrete. This poster is to celebrate concrete and all of its awesomeness. Please download the template and directions below to help you with the assignment. I have also posted some examples of posters from the past to help you with the task.

Now you will need to make a brochure in Pages. Use a trifold template or a newsletter for your project. Your assignment for today is to make a brochure on how to mix and pour concrete for a small job. Pretend it is for someone who does not know anything on how to pour concrete.
